Program Overview
The SGA Emergency Loan Program provides small loans to graduate and undergraduate students with emergency needs.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the SGA Emergency Loan Program, students must meet the following requirements:
- Be enrolled in six (6) credit hours during fall/spring semesters and/or enrolled in three (3) credit hours during the summer.
- Not owe an MTSU balance.
- Note that international students are excluded from receiving an SGA Loan.
Loan Details
- The loans are short-term and must be repaid in 30 to 90 days.
- The loan amount is $100.
- Students may only receive one SGA loan per semester.
- Filing a FAFSA form is not required for eligibility.
