Environmental geoscience is an exciting field where geology meets environmental science, helping you understand how rocks, soil, and water shape landscapes and drive environmental processes. You'll develop the skills to tackle complex problems, from resource management to environmental protection and risk assessment, combining hands-on science with knowledge of policy and sustainability.

Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the Environmental Geoscience program, you must meet the following requirements:
- Mathematics 30-1, 30-2, or 31
- Chemistry 30 (minimum grade of 60% required)
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees for the Environmental Geoscience program are as follows:
- Undergraduate Full Course Load Fees for Nova Scotian Students: $10,651.34
- Undergraduate Full Course Load Fees for Canadian Students: $12,345.56
- Undergraduate Full Course Load Fees for International Students: $26,633.02
Degree Timeline
The Environmental Geoscience program typically takes four years to complete. The degree timeline is as follows:
- First Year: Take required introductory courses and join clubs and get involved on campus and within the program
- Middle Years: Take advantage of opportunities to become a teaching assistant, connect with faculty about summer research opportunities, and option to enrol in the co-op program
- Final Year: Choose to complete honours program, choose to complete an intensive field course, earn your degree, and apply for Professional Registration in Nova Scotia
