Minors for Geology Majors

For Geology majors, a minor is considered to be either:

• any subject outside of the Core in which the student has completed 6 courses
• a "General Science Minor" in which a student has completed at least 9 courses (27 hours) from the following subjects:
  • APSC
  • BIOL
  • CHEM
  • COMP
  • ENVS
  • MATH
  • PHYS

The "General Science Minor" consists of the required 6 credit hours (6 hours) each of:

• CHEM
• MATH
• PHYS and 9 credit hours (9 hours) of any of the above subjects.
