Specific Course: Immunisations and Vaccinations Live Sessions
Overview
This short course focuses on the theoretical aspect of immunisations and vaccinations in line with the UKHSA National minimum standards and core curriculum for vaccination training (2025).
Learning Outcomes
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about relevant diseases and vaccines to patients, parents, and carers.
- Support individuals to make informed decisions about vaccination.
- Promote public confidence in vaccination.
- Improve the uptake of immunisation.
- Know where to request expert specialist advice if required.
Who Would Benefit
This course is intended for health practitioners new to their area requiring an update, health practitioners who give advice, and health practitioners who wish to update on the topics covered in the foundation course.
Important Note
Applicants must be a qualified nurse or nursing associate and submit their NMC Registry PIN as evidence prior to course commencement.
