Community Practice Teaching: Education and Practice
This Level 7 module is designed for registered nurses and midwives who have completed a Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) approved field-specific Specialist Practitioner Qualification (SPQ) or Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) programme. The module aims to equip students with the unique skills, knowledge, and understanding of the Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor role.
What's Covered in This Course?
The module covers the expectations of an advanced level of practice demonstrated by registered nurses and midwives. It involves a mixture of synchronous and asynchronous sessions, delivered online.

This course is accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

The fees for this course are Ł820 per 20 credit module for UK students. The course is not available to international students.

The annual and modular tuition fees are applicable to the first year of study. The university reserves the right to increase fees for subsequent years of study.
Course in Depth
This Level 7 module is a structured education programme that aims to prepare qualified registrants for the role of supporting and assessing nurses and/or midwives undertaking an SPQ or SCPHN programme. The module is designed to equip the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse or Specialist Practitioner with the unique skills, knowledge, and understanding of the Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor role.
