Master of Business Administration
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Fairfield University's Dolan School of Business is designed to develop students with broad and strategic perspectives across multiple business functions. The program gives students the opportunity to concentrate in a functional business area by customizing the curriculum to fit their career aspirations.

The MBA program is meant to develop students with broad and strategic perspectives across multiple business functions, such as accounting, analytics, economics, finance, management, and marketing. Courses are offered online, in-person, and hybrid formats to assist students based on individual learning styles and personal schedules.
Program Requirements
- Students with non-business backgrounds require 42 credits of coursework.
- Students with business backgrounds require 36 credits to complete the MBA.
- Every student is required to take one course from every subject area, such as accounting, analytics, finance, economics, management, and marketing.
- Every Dolan MBA student identifies a concentration, enabling the student to develop discipline-specific knowledge.

Accounting Concentration
The Accounting concentration is available to students who have an undergraduate degree in Accounting or the equivalent. The equivalent of an undergraduate degree in Accounting includes the successful completion of Intermediate Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Cost Accounting, Auditing, and U.S. Taxation.
Analytics Concentration
The Analytics concentration requires students to take four courses: three advanced graduate courses from the department and one advanced graduate course from any department in Dolan.
Economics Concentration
The Economics concentration requires students to take a required concentration course and three elective concentration courses from a list of available courses.
Finance Concentration
The Finance concentration requires students to take two required concentration courses and two elective concentration courses from a list of available courses.
Management Concentration
The Management concentration requires students to take a required concentration course and three elective concentration courses from a list of available courses. Specializations are available in Global Strategy, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Human Resources.
Marketing Concentration
The Marketing concentration requires students to take a required concentration course and two elective concentration courses from a list of available courses. A specialization is available in Marketing Analytics.

Dual Degree Programs
Fairfield University offers dual degree programs that allow students to pursue two graduate degrees simultaneously. The dual degree programs available include MBA/MS Dual Degree and MS/MS Dual Degree.
