About Our Nursing Degree

Fairfield Egan now offers bachelor's degree graduates the opportunity to pursue an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at our nursing school in Texas. You'll build on your foundation of previous knowledge as you complete nursing courses and develop the social awareness, critical thinking skills, aesthetic sensibility, and values that prepare you to sit for the National Council Licensure Exam for registered nurses (NCLEX-RN).
Program Overview
The nationally ranked Marion Peckham Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies has expanded its highly regarded second-degree nursing program to Austin. This program is designed for people who hold a bachelor's degree in a field other than nursing. People without a bachelor's degree will not be eligible for admission.
