About the Program

The program is delivered by the RCSI Centre for Positive Health Sciences and is designed for healthcare professionals, educators, legal experts, or managers interested in cultivating cultures of well-being. The curriculum seamlessly integrates leadership development, positive psychology, lifestyle medicine, and positive organizational scholarship, providing a holistic toolkit for success in health, corporate, and educational settings.

  • Critically discuss new and emerging approaches to health and well-being
  • Identify and evaluate the implications of new healthcare paradigms, especially lifestyle and integrative medicine in relation to the workplace
  • Critically evaluate and reflect on how increased self-awareness can be used to increase personal health and well-being
  • Examine and critique the impact of the principles of positive psychology on health and well-being
  • Identify the core principles of positive organizational scholarship and critically evaluate their impact on employee engagement and well-being

Admissions

  • Entry Requirements:
    • Hold a Level 7 or Level 8 degree, or equivalent
    • Be working in a relevant sector with the responsibility to lead initiatives related to creating and sustaining positive workplace cultures
    • Meet the English language requirements: IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL): Available for those who do not meet the minimum academic requirements
  • English Language Requirement Exceptions: Exemptions may apply for applicants who have completed their school or undergraduate studies through English in a country where English is the majority native language, or for those who have worked in a country where English is the majority native language for three years or more.

Fees and Funding

  • Total Fees: 6,025
  • Payment Schedule:
    • 1st payment: 2,000 on acceptance of offer
    • 2nd payment: 2,000 on 1 November 2026
    • 3rd payment: 2,025 on 1 March 2027
  • Fees Include: All resources, access to the online learning portal, and access to extensive RCSI-only databases.
