Ontario Visiting Graduate Students (OVGS)

The Ontario Visiting Graduate Students program allows graduate students to take courses at another Ontario university while remaining registered at their home university.


Eligibility

To be eligible for the OVGS program, students must be registered as full-time students in a Lakehead University graduate program and have completed at least one term of study.


Program Details

  • A maximum of one full course equivalent may be taken through OVGS.
  • Students pay fees to their home university and are classified as visiting graduate students at the host university, where they pay no fees.
  • If non-Lakehead University courses are taken in a graduate student's final term, the official transcript must be received by the Registrar's office by May 1st for spring convocation or October 1st for fall graduation.
