Overview

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) is a four-year undergraduate degree that aims to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and practical experience necessary to become a qualified physiotherapist. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and movement, as well as the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of health conditions.

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours), students must meet the following requirements:

• ATAR 85.00
• Subject pre-requisites:
  • English (Units 3 & 4, C)
  • One of Biology, Mathematical Methods, Physical Education, Chemistry, Physics, or Psychology (Units 3 & 4, C)
• Inherent requirements: students must be able to meet the physical and other professional requirements of professional practice within the degree

Fees and Scholarships

The estimated annual fee for the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) is AUD 9,536. Students may be eligible for scholarships, including those offered by UniSQ and external organizations.

How to Apply

Applications for the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) can be made through the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) website. Students must provide supporting documents, including academic transcripts and proof of English language proficiency.

Study Dates

The Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) has one intake per year, with study commencing in Trimester 1. The application closing date is Monday, 16 February, and orientation begins on Monday, 9 February.

Placements
