Overview of the Associate Degree of Surveying
The Associate Degree of Surveying at the University of Southern Queensland (UniSQ) is designed to provide students with the practical skills, industry knowledge, and recognized qualification needed to begin their career in surveying with confidence. This degree focuses on measuring, mapping, and recording features of land and surrounding environments using mathematics in conjunction with specialized surveying technology and equipment.

As a graduate of the Associate Degree of Surveying, students will have the opportunity to begin their career as a surveying technician or associate. Surveyors work in a variety of settings, including property and land development organizations, surveying companies, construction companies, government institutions, mining companies, and private consultancy.
Professional Accreditation
When graduates complete the Associate Degree of Surveying, they will meet the minimum educational requirements for registration as a Registered Surveying Associate with the Surveyors Board of Queensland.

Entry Requirements
To be eligible for the Associate Degree of Surveying, students must meet specific entry requirements based on their educational background. These include:
