The Master of Learning and Teaching (Primary) is a postgraduate degree that provides students with the skills and confidence to teach children aged five to 12 across all learning areas of the school curriculum, with a specialized focus on English Literacy. Students will participate in 60 days of placements in state, Catholic, or independent school settings, allowing them to put their learning into practice.

Degree Requirements
All students must provide evidence of an attempt at the Literacy and Numeracy Test for Initial Teacher Education (LANTITE) by the end of their first year. Students are also required to complete 60 days of supervised professional experience, which provides the opportunity to put theory into practice and build significant industry connections.
Entry Requirements
To be considered for entry into this postgraduate degree, students must satisfy the following requirements:
- Completion of a 3-year bachelor degree, or equivalent, in a discipline other than education with a minimum GPA of 4.0 out of 7.0.
- Demonstration through eight units of their undergraduate degree, or other equivalent studies, of adequate knowledge of one or more learning areas related to the Australian primary school curriculum.
English Language Requirements
Students must meet the applicable English language requirements, which include:
- IELTS (Academic) - Minimum overall score of 7.5, with a minimum 7.0 in writing and reading, and a minimum of 8.0 in speaking and listening.
