The Criminal Justice Minor provides an overview of the criminal justice system. It is notable that Criminal Justice majors are not eligible to earn this minor.

Program Requirements

To complete the minor, students must fulfill the following requirements:

• Courses must be completed at the University of West Florida (UWF) with a grade of "C" or higher.
• Requirements may not be met with directed studies courses.

Course Requirements

The following courses are required for the Criminal Justice Minor:

• CCJ 2002: Survey of Crime and Justice (3 hours)
• CCJ 3014: Criminology (3 hours)
• CJC 4010: Corrections (3 hours)
• CJE 4110: Policing (3 hours)
• CJL 3510: Courts (3 hours)

Eligibility
