• SUR 2102 Introduction to Geomatics College of Science and Engineering, Department of Civil Engineer & Construction Management 3 sh (may not be repeated for credit)
  Prerequisite: CGN 2328 This course introduces the use of modern surveying instruments and methods commonly employed by Civil Engineers. Topics include distance measurement, angle measurement, traverse and topographic surveys, route surveying, construction surveying, land surveys, mapping, Global Positioning Systems (GPS), and preparation and submittal of survey documents.
• SUR 2102L Introduction to Geomatics Lab College of Science and Engineering, Department of Civil Engineer & Construction Management 1 sh (may not be repeated for credit)
  Prerequisite: SUR 2102 This course introduces the fundamentals of surveying. The topics include field measuring of angles, distances, elevations, horizontal and vertical location using total station and level.
