Fashion Design Program

The Fashion Design program is a one-week intensive program that integrates discussions with fashion experts, companies, and fashion/product designers in New York City.

Program Overview

Visits to fashion studios, labs, and attending a New York Fashion Week show provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn and network. During the program, participants will meet former and current fashion designers and visit studios and showrooms of fashion design companies. Participants will visit fashion locations all over the city and meet with experts and their teams to get a good feel of what it means to work in the fashion industry in NYC.

Program Activities

Besides site visits and conversations with experts, participants will tour and visit iconic NYC museums, such as The Color Factory, The Cooper Hewitt, and the Whitney Museum. As optional, participants interested in exploring future educational opportunities will visit one or two NYC Universities with top fashion graduate programs in the industry.

Program Dates

This program is only offered to high schools or higher education institutions (HEI) with a minimum of 12 students. The program is offered all year, and the team will discuss a date that works for the group.

Tuition

The one-week program costs $2,800. Upon completion, participants receive a certificate of attendance.

Housing and Local Transportation

Housing and local transportation are available for an additional $1,800. This includes homestay with an American family, breakfast, and a weekly metro card for local public transportation.

Visa Requirements

For international participants that require a visa to enter the U.S., a valid B2 (tourist visa) is required to participate in this program. The program does not sponsor visas.
