Program Overview

The Radiation Therapy Technology program at Manhattan University is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become competent radiation therapists.


Program Description

The program focuses on the technical and clinical aspects of radiation therapy, including patient care, radiation safety, and treatment planning. Students will learn about the latest technologies and techniques in radiation therapy, including intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), and image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT).


Admission Criteria

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
    • Two spaces indent for sublist
      • A minimum GPA of 3.0
      • Completion of prerequisite courses in physics, biology, and mathematics
  • Official transcripts from all previous institutions attended
  • Letters of recommendation from academic or professional references

Program Requirements

  • Completion of a minimum of 120 credits
    • 60 credits of general education courses
    • 30 credits of radiation therapy courses
    • 30 credits of clinical practice courses
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 in all radiation therapy courses
  • Completion of a comprehensive exam or capstone project

Tuition Fees

The tuition fees for the Radiation Therapy Technology program are as follows:


  • $10,000 per semester for full-time students
  • $5,000 per semester for part-time students
