The Childhood Education program at Manhattan University is designed for students who wish to teach grades 1-6. This program aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and practices necessary to become effective educators in elementary school settings.
Program Description
The Childhood Education program focuses on the development of young children, including their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. The program curriculum is designed to provide students with a deep understanding of the subject matter, as well as the skills and strategies needed to teach and assess student learning.
Program Requirements
- Completion of a minimum of 120 credits
- 40 credits in general education courses
- 40 credits in professional education courses
- 40 credits in content area courses
- Maintenance of a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Completion of a student teaching experience

Tuition Fees
The tuition fees for the Childhood Education program are as follows:
