The Zoology program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education that prepares them for a variety of careers in the field. The program will not only teach students what they need to know to compete in today's job market, but also help them identify the industries and careers that best match their interests.

Program Details

The program offers a range of tracks, including pre-medical professional training, and has an excellent record of placing students in top medical, dental, veterinary, and physical therapy programs. The faculty encourages majors to pursue guided research, particularly through the department's thesis program.

All students are urged to consult with the department early in their education to arrange for an advisor who can offer schedule and career suggestions. The department's thesis program provides students with the opportunity to engage in guided research and explore their interests in depth.

Although some courses are offered online, the Zoology Degree Program cannot be completed online. Students are required to consult with the department to determine the best course of study and to arrange for an advisor.
