Program Overview

The Automotive Technology AAS program at Wake Technical Community College requires students to complete all necessary Automotive courses. In addition to these courses, students must also complete the following General Education courses at WTCC:


General Education Courses

  • MAT 110 Mathematical Measurement & Literacy (Elective @ WSU) - 3 credit hours
    • This course focuses on mathematical measurement and literacy.
  • ENG 110 Freshman Composition (EN1 @ WSU) - 3 credit hours
    • This course is designed to improve students' writing skills.
  • HUM 121 The Nature of America (Elective @ WSU) - 3 credit hours
    • This course explores the nature of America.
  • PSY 118 Interpersonal Psychology (Elective @ WSU) - 3 credit hours
    • This course delves into the realm of interpersonal psychology.
  • COM 120 Intro to Interpersonal Communication (HU@WSU) - 3 credit hours
    • This course introduces students to the principles of interpersonal communication.
