The Outdoor Adventure Leadership (OAL) Degree program at Southern Oregon University (SOU) offers a unique blend of academic learning and immersive outdoor experiences. This program provides students with an incredible opportunity to learn leadership skills amidst the natural landscapes of the region.

The OAL Degree program is designed to foster emotional intelligence, resilience, and self-awareness through technical outdoor activities such as mountain biking. The program's success is heavily reliant on having the right equipment, such as high-quality mountain bikes. Thanks to a generous donor contribution, the program was able to purchase 15 new full-suspension Marin mountain bikes, which has dramatically improved the quality and safety of student experiences.
