Cinematography Program
Learn The Art of Visual Storytelling at NYFA
The 1-Year Cinematography Program provides intensive training in filmmaking, lighting, editing, color correction, still photography, and film craft. Students will learn how to perform various roles in film, media, and entertainment through coursework and hands-on projects, gradually building up a cinematography reel with examples of their best work. Upon graduation, students will earn a college credit-bearing Certificate.
Program Details
The 1-Year Cinematography Program is a full-time, two-semester program available at NYFA's New York and Los Angeles campuses. The program curriculum is based on location and is subject to change.

Tuition and Fees
Tuition costs and fees are subject to change and may vary depending on the program and location. Estimated total tuition for all programs is available, as well as an explanation of NYFA institutional fees. Additional expenses, such as housing, food, transportation, books, and supplies, are not included in the tuition costs.
Accreditation and Approvals
NYFA is approved to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) and is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC).
