12-Week Game Coding Workshop
Learn Game Coding at NYFA
The 12-Week Intensive Game Design Workshop is designed to impart creative and technical skills and knowledge in game development. Students learn to use relevant game design technologies, including Github, Adobe Creative Suite, Maya, Bitbucket, HTML, and more.
Workshop Description
The Intensive Game Coding Workshop meets Monday through Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for 12 weeks. Students learn from a faculty of working, expert game industry programmers who mentor each student in a hands-on and immersive studio environment. The workshop focuses on learning the Unity platform, Unreal Engine, and C# scripting language.
Game School Alumni
Notable alumni include Daniela Lobo Dias, a Visual Effects Artist, Director, and Writer.
Projects
Each student builds a portfolio and receives one-on-one mentoring over the course of the twelve weeks.

The New York Film Academy is approved to operate by the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). "Approval" or "approval to operate" means that the institution is compliant with the minimum standards contained in the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009 (as amended) and Division 7.5 of Title 5 of the California Code of Education.
