Level 3 Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship

Apprenticeship Overview

The Level 3 Insurance Practitioner Apprenticeship is designed to provide foundational knowledge and skills in insurance through hands-on, practical learning.

Who is the Programme for?

This apprenticeship is ideal for junior insurance brokers, insurance underwriting assistants, and insurance claims handlers/junior loss adjusters.

Where will the Programme Take You?

Upon completion, you will be able to operate as a fully proficient insurance practitioner, delivering high-quality service to clients. You will also be eligible to become a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Eligibility

Typically, eligibility includes a minimum of five GCSEs with grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), including English and maths, or relevant work experience.

Apprenticeship Information

• Duration: 18 months
• Start Dates: January, April, and October
• Application Deadline: 6 weeks before the start date
• Study Modes: Online live teaching, performance coaching, guided self-study, and work-based projects
• Cost: Ł8,000 (levy funded), free for learners, 95% government funded for non-levy payers
