JIEB Exams

The JIEB Exams prepare students for the challenging work of an insolvency practitioner, evaluating their expertise and practical application.

JIEB Overview

The JIEB qualification is made up of two individual exams, testing high-level knowledge of both corporate and personal insolvency.

Entry Requirements

To sit JIEB exams, students must be authorised by one of the following Recognised Professional Bodies:

• Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA)
• The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)
• The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS)
• The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland (ICAI)

Course Structure

The course includes regular online lectures, study materials, and a work programme for each module. Online revision courses focus on exam technique, and classroom mocks help fine-tune exam strategy.

Gain Your Practitioner Licence

To qualify for the Insolvency Practitioner Licence, students must pass one or both JIEB exams.
