Entry Requirements
To study the BSc (Hons) Health and Care (Top-Up), applicants must meet the following entry requirements:
- Hold a health-related diploma or equivalent
- Have 240 credits from years 1 and 2 of an undergraduate degree (BA/BSc) in a relevant subject
English Language Requirements
Applicants must be able to communicate and engage in English effectively in an academic setting. If English is not the first language, proof of English language ability is required for reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

- Course length: 12 months (full-time)
- Start dates: September and March
- Study methods: Face-to-face in London East (Portsoken) with online materials and support

- Qualification: Bachelor of Science (Honours) Health and Care awarded by BPP University
Course Structure
The program is divided into three terms, each focusing on different aspects of health and social care:
Term 1
- Global Health and Sustainability (20 credits): Investigate the effects of climate change and environmental factors on health, exploring global health policy and governance frameworks.
- Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care Settings (20 credits): Develop the ability to lead and manage effectively within health and social care settings, exploring organizational structures and change management.
Term 2
- Health Law, Policy and Governance in Health and Social Care (20 credits): Gain a comprehensive understanding of the legal, policy, and governance frameworks that shape health and social care systems.
- Integrative Care and Collaborative Practice in Health and Social Care (20 credits): Examine key topics including integrated care systems, effective communication, and collaborative decision-making.
Term 3
- Project (40 credits): Emphasize research, critical thinking, and self-directed learning, providing students with the tools to explore health and social care principles and practices in depth.

Fees and Funding
- Fees for the academic year: £13,500.00
- A deposit of £350 is required within 48 hours of accepting the offer to secure a place.
- Additional fees may apply for resitting assessments.
