Entry Requirements

To study the BSc (Hons) Health and Care (Top-Up), applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

• Hold a health-related diploma or equivalent
• Have 240 credits from years 1 and 2 of an undergraduate degree (BA/BSc) in a relevant subject

English Language Requirements

Course Structure

The program is divided into three terms, each focusing on different aspects of health and social care:

Term 1

• Global Health and Sustainability (20 credits): Investigate the effects of climate change and environmental factors on health, exploring global health policy and governance frameworks.
• Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care Settings (20 credits): Develop the ability to lead and manage effectively within health and social care settings, exploring organizational structures and change management.

Term 2

• Health Law, Policy and Governance in Health and Social Care (20 credits): Gain a comprehensive understanding of the legal, policy, and governance frameworks that shape health and social care systems.
• Integrative Care and Collaborative Practice in Health and Social Care (20 credits): Examine key topics including integrated care systems, effective communication, and collaborative decision-making.

Term 3

• Project (40 credits): Emphasize research, critical thinking, and self-directed learning, providing students with the tools to explore health and social care principles and practices in depth.

• Fees for the academic year: £13,500.00
• A deposit of £350 is required within 48 hours of accepting the offer to secure a place.
• Additional fees may apply for resitting assessments.
