Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) Degree

The Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree with a major in Theatre requires 60 semester hours, plus a minor. The program offers two concentrations: Acting/Directing and Design/Technical.


Acting/Directing Concentration

The Acting/Directing concentration requires the following courses:

  • THEA 330: Script Analysis (4 semester hours)
  • THEA 346: The Audition (2 semester hours)
  • THEA 350: Acting II Scene Study (4 semester hours)
  • THEA 360: Theatre History I (4 semester hours)
  • THEA 365: Theatre History II (4 semester hours)
  • THEA 380: Directing I (4 semester hours)
  • THEA 450: Acting III Shakespeare (4 semester hours)
