Program Overview
Honors Program at TAMU-CC
The Honors Program at TAMU-CC provides students with the opportunity to challenge themselves as scholars, make a difference in their community, and build collaborative relationships with their peers. All accepted students are eligible for one or more scholarships, a space in the Honors Residence Hall, and the opportunity to study in a supportive environment in the Honors Lounge. Students graduate with the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace and in graduate or professional schools.
Application Review Criteria
High school seniors who wish to apply should have a GPA of 3.5 or above, based on TAMU-CC's converted, 4-point scale. Current TAMU-CC sophomores and transfer students should have a GPA of 3.5 in completed college coursework. Those who pass this first stage will be invited to interview with members of the Admissions Committee. Applicants will be notified within 14 days of their interview whether they have been accepted into the Program or placed on a waitlist.

Program Benefits
