Very Important Kids Camp
The Very Important Kids (VIK) Camp is a summer program designed for children aged 5-12. The camp takes place Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm at the Garcia Center.
Details
- The camp includes activities such as visual and performing arts, literacy, STEM, fitness, gardening, and more.
- Breakfast and lunch are provided.
- The cost is $125 per week per child.
- Early care is available from 7:30 am for an additional $25 per week per child.
- Late care is available until 6:30 pm for an additional $25 per week per child.
- Children should dress appropriately for art and movement activities.
- A limited number of scholarships are available for students in need.
- The camp is supported by partners including Valero Benefit for Children, Grow Local South Texas, Kids Get Fit, Tennis Success, and TAMUCC Nursing.
