  • OPSY 5315 Operations Management: This course is worth 3 Semester Credit Hours and consists of 3 Lecture Hours. It introduces students to the study of operations of manufacturing and service organizations, covering operational design and control issues such as:
    • Forecasting
    • Capacity planning
    • Facility location and layout
    • Quality
    • JIT/lean philosophies
    • Materials requirement planning The course emphasizes developing an operational strategy that links functional areas and includes international, environmental, legal, and ethical aspects of operations. The prerequisite for this course is ORMS 5310.
  • OPSY 5370 Seminar: This course is worth 1-3 Semester Credit Hours and consists of 1-3 Lecture Hours. It focuses on an identified topic in Operations Management and may be repeated for significantly different topics with written permission from the Director of Master's Programs.
  • OPSY 5396 Directed Individual Research or Readings: This course is worth 1-3 Semester Credit Hours. Students are required to contact the Director of Master's Programs for more information.
