Program Overview


Course Description

The CRIM 3950 Independent Study is a research course that allows students to explore a selected study topic under the guidance of a faculty resource person. The course begins with an initial meeting between the student and the department chair to discuss the study topic and review research methods. A faculty resource person is then assigned to guide the student's work and provide advisory support. A copy of the student's work is filed in the department's archives.


Prerequisites

  • Senior standing or permission of the department chair is required to enroll in this course.
