Introduction to Go West Online Orientation

Go West Online Orientation is designed to help students become familiar with the University of West Alabama and ensure they experience success. The program is intended for students living on- or off-campus, and it prepares them for the new responsibilities, diverse people, and academic demands of college life.

Program Structure

• The program consists of reviewing the UWA new student handbook and completing 3 quizzes.
  • Review the handbook in its entirety and complete the corresponding quiz.
  • Complete all quizzes to fulfill the program requirements.
• The quizzes cover the following topics:
  • Advising
  • UWA Essentials
  • Connecting to Campus

Completion and Next Steps

• Once students have reviewed the UWA new student handbook and completed all quizzes, they will be contacted by an advisor.
• The advisor will register students for classes upon completion of the quizzes.
