Introduction to the Doctorate of Physical Therapy/Master of Business Administration (DPT/MBA) Program

The Doctorate of Physical Therapy/Master of Business Administration (DPT/MBA) program is a collaborative effort between Belmont University's Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree program and the Massey Graduate School of Business. This unique program allows graduates of the DPT degree to transfer credits from their DPT coursework into the MBA program.

Program Overview

Belmont University DPT graduates have the opportunity to apply to the Massey Graduate School of Business for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. To be eligible, all prerequisites for admittance into the MBA program must be satisfied, including the completion of two quantitative courses.

Program Requirements

• The DPT/MBA students are required to complete all core business courses (24 hours) for the MBA degree.
• In lieu of the 10 health care elective hours required for the MBA degree, DPT graduates may substitute the following DPT courses:
