Introduction to the Bachelor of Education Program in Elementary Teacher Education Pre-K-8

The Bachelor of Education Program in Elementary Teacher Education Pre-K-8 is a four-year program offered through the University of Regina and North West College. This program allows individuals to meet the requirements for Teacher Certification in the province of Saskatchewan and prepares them to teach in Pre-K-8 schools.


Program Description

Through a research and experientially-based understanding of learners, individuals develop the professional attitudes, knowledge, and skills necessary to teach in an increasingly diverse and complex environment. The program provides extensive field experience in a school setting, beginning in the first year with an introduction to schools and exploration of the various roles in education.
