Program Overview
Professional Certificate in Leadership
The Professional Certificate in Leadership is a program designed to help individuals develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become effective leaders in their chosen field. The program is offered by the Centre for Continuing Education at the University of Regina and can be completed in as little as four months or up to three years.
Program Overview
The program consists of 7 courses, including 5 required courses and 2 elective courses. The required courses cover topics such as principles of effective leadership, coaching and mentoring employees, creating effective work groups, interpersonal communication, and negotiation and conflict resolution. The elective courses allow students to choose from a range of topics, including developing a personal leadership plan, authentic leadership, leading and motivating employees, navigating indigenous business relationships, leading change, and transformational leadership.

Program Requirements
To complete the program, students must complete all 7 courses, which can be taken in-person or remotely. Each course is approximately 14 hours long and can be completed in 2 full days in-person or 3 half-days remotely.
