Bachelor's of Science in Nursing Program
American National University is proud to announce the new Bachelor's of Science in Nursing program, which is completely online and open to Tennessee residents. The program is designed to provide students with a well-rounded education and prepare them for the workforce. Students will participate in skills labs, nursing scenarios developed through virtual reality, and learn from career-experienced instructors.
Program Details
The program utilizes UbiSim virtual reality software, which allows faculty to customize scenarios in hospital settings. Instructors are able to lead students through any scenario they will face in their nursing career, from taking vitals to speaking with a patient's family. The program also includes clinical partnership sites across the country for externships, providing students with hands-on experience.
Tuition and Fees
The tuition for the program is $332 per credit hour, with all equipment and textbooks included in the price. The first NCLEX test attempt is also included.
Accreditation
The program is accredited by the Distance Education Accrediting Commission (DEAC) and approved by the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
Callista School of Nursing
The Callista School of Nursing is named after Sister Callista Roy, a renowned figure in the field of nursing. The school is committed to providing scholarly excellence, holistic education, and enduring principles that underpin the field of nursing. The Roy Adaptation Model is used to equip nursing students with a sophisticated toolset to comprehend, maneuver, and adapt to the multifaceted challenges inherent in their educational journey.
