Program Overview
The MFA in Creative Writing / Master of Divinity (MFA-CW / MDiv) is a dual degree program that combines the academy, abbey, and apostolate components of the MDiv program with the mentor/apprenticeship model of the MFA program. This program equips students to use their informed faith and writing to communicate about God, God's people, and God's world.
Curriculum
The dual degree program allows students to complete 21 fewer credits than they would be required to complete if pursuing the programs separately.
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the MFA-CW / MDiv program, students must apply for admission separately to the MFA-CW degree program and Seattle Pacific Seminary (MDiv), individually complying with admissions requirements for both programs.
