STEMcoding Summer Camp

The STEMcoding Summer Camp is a four-day program at the University of Mount Union, designed for middle school and high school girls entering 7th-9th grade. The camp focuses on science, physics, math, engineering, technology, and coding. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from and work with Mount Union faculty and students, gaining valuable skills and technical experience.


Camp Features

  1. When and where is the camp? The STEMCoding Summer Camp will be hosted June 16-19, 2025, at the University of Mount Union, located at 1972 Clark Ave., Alliance, OH 44601. The hours are from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day, and the cost is $50, which includes breakfast, lunch, and a snack each day, as well as all summer camp activities and a t-shirt.
  2. STEMcoding Scholarship Opportunities The STEMcoding Summer Camp hopes to offer scholarship opportunities to local students based on need.
  3. STEMcoding Education Ohio The STEMcoding Summer Camp is affiliated with STEMcoding Education Ohio, a non-profit organization that aims to encourage more science and math teachers to integrate computer science and data science into their classrooms.
