Online Master of Education (M.Ed.)
The University of Mount Union's online Master of Education (M.Ed.) is a fully online, accredited two-year program designed to help working professionals establish themselves as leaders in education. The program offers a flexible, project-based internship or practicum that can be completed in the student's home school.

Master of Education Concentrations Offered
The University of Mount Union offers four concentrations for the Master of Education program:
- Athletic Coaching: This concentration combines the University's track record in producing highly successful coaches with its rich history of academic preparation in education and sport-related fields. The online M.Ed. with a concentration in athletic coaching is a premier program for developing athletic coaches who are strong leaders, motivators, and communicators.
- Educational Leadership: This concentration is designed to prepare teaching professionals to serve as successful leaders in roles such as program administrators, teacher leaders, distance learning coordinators, and district administrators.
- Instructional Design and Technology: This concentration enables students to better utilize technology for designing and delivering curriculum. Instructional designers are sought after by the P-12 and higher education fields, as well as by Ed-tech companies and many HR training departments in various industries.
- Ohio Principal Licensure: This concentration is specifically designed for educational professionals seeking to serve as principals or in administrative positions that require the Ohio Principal License. Through an engaging curriculum and a project-based internship tailored to meet the needs of the student's school district, students will be prepared to sit for the Ohio Assessment for Educators licensure exam and earn their Ohio Principal License.
