Introduction to the Army Green to Gold Program

The Army Green to Gold Program is designed to offer enlisted Soldiers in the Army the opportunity to earn a commission as Army officers. This program offers Soldiers several unique ways to earn a baccalaureate or graduate degree.

The Army Green to Gold program provides options for Soldiers interested in pursuing a baccalaureate or graduate degree and earning a commission as an Army officer. The program includes the following options:


  • Active Duty Option (ADO)
  • Scholarship
  • Non-Scholarship

Program Description

The Army Green to Gold program is intended for enlisted Soldiers who wish to continue their education and earn a commission as Army officers. Through this program, Soldiers can pursue a baccalaureate or graduate degree while taking advantage of the opportunities offered by Army ROTC to grow and learn.
