The University College Maastricht (UCM) program offers a unique study abroad experience in the Netherlands. Located in the city of Maastricht, UCM provides a liberal arts and sciences education with a focus on problem-based learning.
Program Overview
UCM is an internationally-oriented liberal arts and sciences college that attracts highly motivated and ambitious students from around the world. The college offers a selective honors program with a robust workload, small class sizes, and plenty of instructor attention.
Academics

- Language Study: Optional (Dutch language courses available)
- Courses and Credit Requirements:
- Take a full-time course of study: Four courses for a total of 24 quarter/16 semester UC units
- Two courses per block
- Skills and language study courses are worth fewer units and may be taken only in addition to four 6-unit courses
- Current Program Courses: Over 120 courses available in the humanities, social sciences, and life sciences
- Research: Undergraduate research projects available for academic credit as part of the Maastricht Research Based Learning (MaRBLe) program

Cost
- Estimated program costs include UC tuition, round-trip airfare, housing, meals, program excursions and activities, passport and visa fees, books, supplies, and other living expenses
- UCEAP scholarships available, including the Global Scholarship of up to $2,000
- Financial aid students can estimate excess aid by subtracting total estimated program costs paid to UCEAP from their financial aid award for study abroad
