University of Saint Mary Accelerated Nursing Program
The University of Saint Mary's Accelerated BSN is competitively priced with other Accelerated BSN offerings in the Kansas City area, with a per credit-hour cost of $750 (excluding room and board, if you choose to live on campus).
Program Details
- The program is designed for individuals who are passionate about nursing and willing to dedicate a year of their time to their education.
- Candidates should be highly motivated, as they will be completing two years of schooling in just 12 months.
- Candidates are expected to have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on all prior academic work.
Accreditation and Approval
- The baccalaureate degree program in nursing and master's degree program in nursing at the University of Saint Mary are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
- The Pre-Licensure Baccalaureate of Nursing program, Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner, and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner programs are approved by the Kansas State Board of Nursing (KSBN).
Licensure
- Graduation from a USM nursing program and passage of the NCLEX exam does not guarantee licensure.
Financial Aid
- At least 95% of USM students receive financial aid each year.
- Student loans are available, based in part on need demonstrated on the FAFSA.
- Nursing Scholarships may also be available from local hospitals and other institutions, often with contractual employment agreements.
Admission Criteria
