Pre-Engineering Program

The mission of the Engineering Department at the University of the Incarnate Word is to provide talented students with the basics of an undergraduate engineering education in the context of the University's integrated program of liberal arts and professional studies.

Program Overview

Engineering is one of the most in-demand professions in government and industry, with some of the highest paying entry-level jobs in the marketplace today. The Pre-Engineering Program is a two-year plan of study that lays a foundation of math, science, and computer courses.

Program Options

This foundation can be:

• Transferred to a school that offers a four-year bachelor's degree in a branch of engineering
