TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

The TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is a nationally recognized training program that equips students with the skills to deliver high-quality training and assessment education in the VET sector and beyond.

Overview

This course is designed for individuals who wish to commence or progress their career in training and assessment, including those who want to develop or strengthen their training and assessment skills in a competency environment. The program suits people who deliver training and conduct assessment within their work role, are seeking to extend or update training and assessment qualifications, or are engaged in a training role and intend to deliver and/or assess Training Package qualifications.

Course Delivery

The course is delivered online two evenings per week and in person one day per week. Students are required to complete independent study, including eLearning activities, additional study, and assessments. It is recommended that students dedicate up to 20 hours per week for this.

Learning Outcomes

This qualification reflects the roles of entry-level vocational education and training (VET) teachers, trainers, and assessors who are delivering training services to vocational learners and assessment services to candidates. The roles may be undertaken by those working in registered training organisations (RTOs), enterprises, community organisations, schools, and other VET provision contexts.
