Admission Requirements

To be admitted to Western Community College, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 10 (including English 10 & Math 10) or Mature Student Status (19 years of age or more)
• Language Proficiency Requirements:
  • Evidence of 3 years of full-time secondary education (Grades 812) in the program's language of instruction
  • Completion of Grade 10 English (or higher) with a minimum grade of C
  • 2 years of full-time post-secondary education in the program's language of instruction
  • Standardized Language Test scores (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL, CAEL, CELPIP, Duolingo English Test, Pearson Test of English, Cambridge English Qualifications)
