Overview
This qualification reflects the role of highly skilled senior managers who use a broad range of hospitality skills combined with specialised managerial skills and substantial knowledge of industry to coordinate hospitality operations. They operate with significant autonomy and are responsible for making strategic business management decisions.

Entry Requirements
Age Requirement
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the commencement of the course.
Academic Qualifications
- Completion of Australian Year 12 or an equivalent qualification.
- For certain courses, completion of an AQF Diploma or a relevant qualification may be required.
English Language Proficiency
- An overall valid academic IELTS score of at least 6.0, with no band less than 5.5, or an equivalent score from a recognized English language test.
- Alternatively, proficiency can be demonstrated by:
- Completion of an Advanced level English course from an approved ELICOS provider.
- Completion of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian Registered Training Organization (RTO) within the last two years.
- Successfully passing Western Sydney College's English Placement Test.
Additional Requirements
- International students must meet the Student Visa (Subclass 500) requirements.
- For packaged courses, students must successfully complete the lower-level qualification to progress to the higher-level qualification.
Course Structure
Thirty Three (33) units including Fourteen (14) core units and nineteen (19) elective units are required for the award of the SIT60322 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management. Units have been selected in accordance with the packaging rules and are relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and qualification level.

Course Fees
The total costs for this course include enrolment, tuition, materials, and resources. Payment Terms & Conditions
- Payment terms are outlined in the Student Handbook.
- A detailed payment plan will be provided in the Letter of Offer and Written Agreement before course acceptance.
- Additional fees and charges may apply as outlined in the agreement.
- Western Sydney College reserves the right to adjust tuition fees and other charges as needed.
Delivery Mode
The delivery mode for this qualification will be 6.5 hours Online and 13.5 hours face to face blended delivery mode combined with classroom and practical training in a commercial kitchen setting. Classroom training will be held at specified locations, and practical training will be held in multiple locations.
Assessment Arrangements
All our Units of Competencies (UOC) are assessed through a combination of assessment types. These may include practical demonstrations, role plays, writing reports, group projects, presentations, and written questionnaires, etc.
Course Progress
All International students are required to meet satisfactory course progress to meet their student visa requirements. Additional support is provided to those international students who are identified as a risk of not meeting the course progress requirements as per the intervention strategy.

Recognition of Prior Learning
Students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge and experience (credit transfer or recognition of prior learning) as per the information included in our International Student Handbook. The granting of course credit may affect their course fees as well as the duration of the course.
