Advanced Korean I

The course consists of the first semester of Korean language studies on an advanced level.

Course Objectives

The course aims to prepare the student for academic work with Korean source material within the area of studies of the degree project (Master's thesis). The texts are studied thoroughly with the assistance of Korean Encyclopaedia and reference material, and the student is trained in independently searching for information in Korean academic literature. The emphasis is on understanding complicated sentences, academic phrases, compounds, and expressions in academic texts.
