The Grundlärarprogrammet med inriktning mot arbete i fritidshem, ingång idrott och hälsa is a 180-credit program that spans three years of full-time study. The program aims to equip students with the skills to teach students in grades F-6 in leisure centers and schools.
Program Description
The program focuses on providing students with the tools to lead activities that stimulate play and learning in leisure centers and to teach sports and health in elementary school. Students will learn to create pedagogical environments that enable play and learning, and how to use various tools such as music, images, dance, or drama in teaching. They will also learn about conflict management, leadership, and working with students' social development.

- Verksamhetsförlagd utbildning (30 credits)
- Idrott och hälsa (30 credits)

Career Opportunities
After completing the program, students can work as primary school teachers in leisure centers and as teachers in sports and health up to grade 6.
Further Studies
Students who have completed the program can pursue further studies, such as a master's degree in child and youth science with a focus on leisure education, or continue to a doctoral program in child and youth science.
Research Areas

Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the program, students must meet the general admission requirements and have a good understanding of Swedish, as the program is taught in Swedish.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees apply to non-EU/EEA students. The first installment is 60,000 SEK, and the total tuition fee for the program is 360,000 SEK.
