Introduction to ESRA Programs
The ESRA offers a range of programs in the fields of cinema, audiovisual, sound, and film animation. These programs are designed to provide students with a comprehensive education and training in their chosen field.
ESRA Son Program
The ESRA Son program is a 3-year post-bac diploma program that provides students with a thorough education in the field of sound. The program covers various aspects of sound, including music, recording, sound design, mixing, video games, radio, and events.
Program Structure
The program is divided into three years, with the first two years providing a foundation in the fundamentals of sound and the third year allowing students to specialize in one of five options:
- Son audiovisuel: sound recording, editing, mixing, and sound design for film and television
- Musique: music composition, recording, mixing, and production
- Sonorisation: sound system installation and operation for live events
- Radio: radio program conception and production
- Jeux vid廩: sound creation and design for video games
Teaching Methods
The program includes over 700 hours of teaching per year, comprising theoretical courses, practical work, and supervised productions. Students have access to professional equipment and software, allowing them to gain hands-on experience in their chosen field.
Diploma and Recognition
The ESRA Son program leads to a state-recognized diploma at the Bac+3 level. The diploma is recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and is equivalent to a license.
