The university offers a range of programs in the field of film, audiovisual, sound, and animation.

Undergraduate Programs

• ESRA Cinema : A 3-year Bachelor's degree granting diploma in film and television.
• ESRA Sound : A 3-year Bachelor's degree granting program in sound, music, film, and video games, radio, and sound for events.
• ESRA Animation : A 3-year Bachelor's degree granting program in 3D animation.
• Bachelor Filmmaking : A 3-year Bachelor's degree granting diploma in film and television.

Post Bachelor's Degree +3

• DHEC Screenwriting and Directing : A 2-year diploma course (M1/M2) in writing and directing for film and television.
• DHEC Production and Distribution : A 2-year diploma course (M1/M2) in film production and distribution.
• MFA Filmmaking : A 2-year MFA degree granting program in writing and directing for film and television.
• ESRA New York : A 1-year training course in English for film and sound professions.

Professional Programs

ARRI Training - Alexa 35

Program Presentation

The ARRI Alexa 35 camera training is a 21-hour, classroom-based course, with a maximum of 6 trainees. The course fee is 1,680, and it is designed for cinematographers, camera assistants, directors, and film and audiovisual professionals.

Target Audience and Prerequisites

• Target audience: Operator managers, camera assistants, and directors with solid knowledge of camera operation.
• Prerequisites: Mastery of basic concepts of a camera and optics, regular practice of shooting in a professional environment, and a minimum level of English.

Skills Developed

On completion of the course, participants will be able to handle the ARRI Alexa 35 equipment, assemble a complete shooting unit, set up and customize the interface and menus, and configure the camera according to specific project requirements.

Training Objectives

The training objectives include mastering advanced functions of the ARRI Alexa 35, creating personalized looks via LUTs, understanding the REVEAL color science, and optimizing image workflows.

Training Program

The training program consists of three days, covering topics such as camera presentation, key features, hardware components, camera menu, and practical exercises.

Teaching Methods

The teaching methods include 100% face-to-face training, alternating theoretical courses and practical exercises, and provision of documents in PDF format.

Validation and Evaluation

A certificate of participation is issued by ARRI and ESRA at the end of the course, and a practical exam is conducted to validate acquired skills.
