This dynamic course supports ambitious, interdisciplinary contemporary art practice, encouraging students to critically question and actively create. Students will develop their individual practice-based study through exposure to a diverse range of material methods and modes of art practice.

• Students exhibit work throughout the year, including at the university's annual Degree Shows.

What You Will Learn

Students will participate in workshops allowing them to explore new processes while connecting studio practice with contemporary art theory. Workshops cover various areas including:

• 3D casting in plaster, alginate, and rubber, alongside traditional sculptural practices

Additionally, students engage with the public, forming artist collectives and participating in significant events such as Tate Exchange.
